It is with great pleasure that we announce the Richfield Springs Central School’s Valedictorian, Margaret Worobey and Salutatorian, Emily Diotte. Margaret is the daughter of Thomas and Amy Worobey. Emily is the daughter of Travis and Karen Diotte.
Margaret Worobey of Richfield Springs earned an overall high school GPA of 100.28. Maggie is involved in Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball, in the National Honor Society, participates in many community service events, and Morning Announcements. She is looking to enter the Physical Therapy field to receive her Doctorate. She has applied to Ithaca College, Utica University, Russell Sage College, and SUNY Oneonta. She has been accepted to all and has chosen to pursue Utica University.
Emily Diotte of Richfield Springs earned an overall high school GPA of 98.95. Emily is involved in National Honor Society, World Language Club, GSA Club, Band, Chorus, Drum Manager for Band, the Morning Announcements. She is looking to enter Psychology and receive her Bachelor's Degree. She has applied to Elmira, Alfred University, Wells College, Siena College, Wake Forest University, and Vanderbuilt. She has been accepted to Elmira, Alfred University, Wells, and Siena College.
We congratulate both students on their outstanding accomplishments and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them!

Richfield Springs is on a 2-hour delay for Wednesday, March 15th, due to high winds and drifting. There will be no AM BOCES and no AM Pre-K. Be safe!

Due to the impending nor'easter, Richfield Springs Schools will be on a remote learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, March 14th. Please follow your building's schedule that has been provided. 12-month staff will NOT report. Stay safe everyone.
SPORTS UPDATE: Girls Varsity Softball Practice is cancelled today. All other after school activities and sports practices are still on as scheduled.
Due to the weather forecast, tomorrow may be a remote learning day, also known as virtual day. Students must bring their computer devices home. If we have a virtual day, students are required to follow their online schedules that have been previously shared and complete the assigned work in order to be considered present for class, and the day. Thank you.

SPORTS UDPATE: Remember... In order to begin Spring Sports, student athletes MUST have a valid and up-to-date physical and complete ALL Family ID information. If the coach does not have this, the student-athlete may NOT participate until information is complete.
Our community cares! Thank you so much to Dan Buddle of Dan's Barber Shop and Marybeth Wightman from Salon M in Richfield Springs for donating their resources, time, and talent to bring joy and beauty into some of our students' lives. Dan and Marybeth were outstanding and the makeovers left our students feeling and looking beautiful.
