On Wednesday, March 1st, RSCS Elementary is starting our March Into Reading Challenge and Ronald McDonald House Charity Fundraiser. The main goal of March Into Reading is to foster and strengthen our students' love of reading while also raising money for RMHC.
Students will be logging all reading done in and out of school on provided reading logs. For every reading log turned in, Miss Kathryn will add a link onto their grade’s paper chain hanging in the library. Students can complete as many reading logs as they want. At the end of the month, the grade level that gets the highest participation will earn a party. The highest readers of the month get to participate in a fun principal's challenge. Additionally, we have more upcoming reading events such as an author visit and a literary based dress up week. We really want and need your participation. At the end of the month, all students will be rewarded with a new book for all their hard work.
