Academic Advising is a way to exchange information that empowers students to realize their maximum educational potential. The advising process is student centered and will result in the student having a clearer understanding of both themselves and the experience of secondary education and beyond. Each year all of our students in grades 8-12 will meet with their School Counselor. We will review their grades, progress toward graduation, interests, challenges and career plans. Students will also benefit utilizing Naviance to explore these topics during classroom guidance units.
