Welcome to Historic Richfield Springs

Richfield Springs, NY is a quaint, lakeside village located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Located midway between Albany and Syracuse and 15 minutes north of Cooperstown, this charming village is a wonderful place to make your home while still allowing you the ability to commute to larger areas for employment. Work during the week and enjoy Canadarago Lake on the evenings and weekends. It’s a perfect formula. We have all the amenities including a grocery store, post office, bank, library, gas stations, drug store, churches, state boat launch, town beach, a community center, antiques, restaurants and we even have McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts for those rushed mornings and evenings. We also have an active youth sports organization, RYS, and a brand new youth sports facility. Our school is a PK-12 building and is truly the heart of this community. We pride ourself on individual attention and small classes, as well as championship athletic teams in the Tri-Valley League. So if you’re looking for a new home and/or a new school district, come see what Richfield Springs is all about.
