Board of Education Goals Home

The Board of Education has adopted the following goals for the 2026-2027 school year. 

BOE Goal 1: Strategic Direction and Student Success

By June 30, 2027, the Board of Education will provide clear strategic direction for student achievement and real-world learning by adopting an updated mission, vision, values, and Portrait of a Graduate and by monitoring progress toward the district’s instructional priorities at least three times during the school year.

BOE Goal 2: Safe, Consistent, and Supportive Schools

By June 30, 2027, the Board of Education will strengthen districtwide safety, consistency, and belonging through policy oversight, strategic resource allocation, and scheduled monitoring of student attendance, behavior, support systems, and physical security needs.

BOE Goal 3: Communication, Engagement, and Governance

By June 30, 2027, the Board of Education will strengthen public trust and governance effectiveness by adopting clear communication protocols and consistently following agreed-upon roles, meeting practices, and decision-making processes.

BOE Goal 4: Fiscal Stewardship and Long-Term Sustainability

By June 30, 2027, the Board of Education will strengthen the district’s financial sustainability by establishing a predictable fiscal-monitoring process, aligning the 2027–2028 budget with district priorities, and adopting updated long-range financial and reserve plans.
